Wendy Johnston is a Master of Music candidate in organ performance at the Peabody Institute, studying with Dr. John Walker. She is therecipient  of the Donald S. Sutherland Endowed Organ Scholarship, the E. Carl Freeman Organ Scholarship, and the Howard Reid Hayden Scholarship as well as the Bruce Eicher Award. She graduated with a Bachelor of Music in organ performance, summa cum laude, fromShenandoah Conservatory and has earned a Bachelor of General Studies from Brigham Young University, where she also majored in pianoperformance.

Recent performances include solo recitals in the Mid-Atlantic region, and ensemble performances as an accompanist.
